Welcome to Improving Patient Safety in Hospitals: Turning Ideas into
Action
This educational program is based on a live, half-day conference held
at the University of Michigan Health System on November 22, 2002. The
program is intended for clinician and administrative leaders responsible
for quality of patient care and patient safety in the inpatient setting.
It provides practical, real-life examples of best practices to improve
patient safety and reduce adverse events for hospitalized patients. The
speakers and panelists include national and community leaders in the patient
safety movement.
This self-study activity is sponsored by the University of Michigan
Medical School.

Activity
This CME activity is a video presentation. We
recommend that you:

- Go to "CME test & credit request" to complete the
knowledge test and the form registering for credit and evaluating the
activity.
Immediate Feedback and Credit
The knowledge test is immediately scored and correct answers explained.
If you request CME credit, you immediately receive your certificate.
