Purpose
All adults should be screened for common cancers over a substantial period of their lives. This self-study activity provides information on priority populations, initial screening, frequency of screening, and termination of screening for breast cancer, cervical cancer, colon cancer, and prostate cancer.

Audience
This self-study activity is appropriate for primary care clinicians and other health care providers providing preventive health care for adults.
