Biography

Brien L. Neudeck, PharmD

Brien L. Neudeck, PharmD, is an assistant professor of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical sciences at the University of Tennessee College of Pharmacy. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy degree (1994) from the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy, Ann Arbor, and completed pharmacy practice and critical care specialty residencies at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington. He completed fellowships in critical care and biomedical research sciences at the University of Michigan College of Pharmacy. From 1999 to June of 2004, he was on the faculty at the University of Wisconsin–Madison School of Pharmacy as an assistant professor.

Dr. Neudeck is the principal investigator on several research projects and has received funding from the US Department of Agriculture, the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases, the American College of Clinical Pharmacy and the pharmaceutical industry. He has published papers in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy, the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists, the American Gastro-enterological Association and the American Society for Microbiology. He has been an invited lecturer on acid suppressive therapy at both regional and national forums.
