What methods of payment are accepted?
Payment must be received by one of the following methods for you to be considered fully registered for a course:
- By Check. Checks are to be made payable, in U.S. funds, to the "University of Michigan." On the memo line of the check, please note the name and date of the course.
- By Credit Card. We accept Visa or MasterCard. On the registration form, please indicate the type of credit card used, the name of the cardholder, the card number and the card expiration date.
What is your policy regarding cancellations?
- We must receive refund requests in writing (by mail, fax or email) one week prior to the start of the course date. No refunds will be made thereafter.
- Most half-day courses are non-refundable.
- A $50 administration fee is deducted from all refunds.
- Please read the specific course brochure for exceptions to our policy.
- Refunds for registrations paid by check take four to six weeks to be processed and are issued through the University of Michigan.
Will I receive a receipt and confirmation for my registration?
Within one to two weeks of receiving your registration, we will mail to you a receipt and confirmation along with specific course information (e.g. parking information). You will not receive a confirmation number and it is not necessary to provide your confirmation at the conference.
Where should I park for a course held at the Towsley Center?
The Towsley Center is connected to and surrounded by the University of Michigan Medical Center. You should park in the Patient/Visitor parking structure nearest the main entrance to the Hospital and Taubman Center. See "Maps and Directions" for more details. Bring your parking slip to the conference, and it will be validated for the cost of your parking while you are at the conference.
How should I make arrangements for a hotel?
Hotel arrangements are made separately from course registration. Please make your hotel reservations directly with the hotel. Course brochures include forms and other information to assist you. (You may open a PDF file of a brochure on-line and either view or print the hotel information.)
Is there a recommended travel agency I can contact to arrange for transportation?
