CME Credit Approval for U-M Activities
The University of Michigan Medical School has two systems for designating CME credit for activities. If you are unsure of which system applies to your activity, contact Tana Declercq at 734-936-1664.
Regional or national activities for non-UMHS personnel. These larger general meetings for community physicians are produced through the Office of Continuing Medical Education (OCME). OCME personnel perform the required procedures and documentation for credit approval as part of the course production process. Contact the Director of OCME at 734-763-1401 for further information. Information on this site does NOT apply to these activities.
Activities for UMHS personnel or restricted groups of non-UMHS personnel. These activities include grand rounds, clinical case conferences, journal clubs, a research day, visiting professor lectures, alumni meetings, outreach programs, components of research projects, and activities jointly sponsored with local specialty societies. The information below applies to these activities.
